Actium Capital

Actium Capital is an investment platform through which Actium, together with select co-investors, provides companies with acquisition, growth and turnaround financing. Our focus lies on Swiss companies with sustainable business models and healthy growth prospects. Actium may invest into equity, debt and hybrid instruments and may acquire minority or controlling shareholdings.

Active Investments

Actium or its (co-)investors currently hold investments in the following ventures, among others:

  • Vision Group AG (since 2020): Swiss market leader in online sales of contact lenses and associated products, having a market share in excess of 50%. Owner of the brands lensvision.ch, discountlens.ch, mclinsen.ch und mrlens.ch, among others.
  • Hair and Skin Medical AG (since 2021): Hair & Skin offers medical treatments for people suffering from hair-loss at affordable prices in its modern, centrally located clinics in Swiss cities.
  • The Good Life Eatery (since 2021): Restaurant chain and food delivery business serving healthy, tasty all-day food from currently four locations across London, UK.
  • PYX Resources Ltd (since 2020): PYX Resources is a major and sustainable global producer of premium zircon listed on the National Stock Exchange of Australia.
  • mycamper AG (since 2020): Operator of an online camper sharing platform active in Switzerland and the Nordics.
  • Berlin Cures (since 2018): Berlin-based spin-off company founded in September 2014 aiming to bring a drug to the market that can neutralize autoantibodies causing heart disease and other autoimmune diseases.
  • Platform Social Gaming Ltd (since 2022): Operating social gaming venues in London. Everyone’s welcome. Anything goes.
  • apoTHEKE Gastro AG (since 2014) / Fraumünster Gastro AG (since 2015) / Gebetour AG (since 2021): Operating restaurants Sonnenberg, Puro - The Social Club and apoTHEKE in the city of Zurich.

Exits

Actium or its (co-)investors have in the past exited the following investments, among others:

  • Binary Edge AG (until 2019): Cybersecurity start-up acquiring, analyzing and classifying internet wide data, by combining efforts in the areas of Cybersecurity, Engineering and Data Science. Exit by way of a trade sale to Coalition Inc., a leading provider of cyber insurance in the United States.
  • Ment / Contract Mill Oy (until 2023): Legal-tech start-up company based in Finland which has developed the first 100% visual no-code document automation platform.
